About the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing the scientific designing, implementing, and interpreting of clinical trials during the drug development process from Phase 0 to Phase 4, including both company-sponsored and investigator-led clinical studies. The role will hold responsibility for ensuring that the quality and the reliability of the study are maintained and that clinical trials meet set objectives in collaboration with other members of the cross-functional team. This position must also ensure that clinical trial regulations are met worldwide and within required timelines and budget to the highest standards of Good Laboratory Practice, ICH guidelines, Good Clinical Practice and according to regulatory guidelines, laws and Standard Operating Procedures.

This position will ideally be based in Belgium, Switzerland or the UK.

About you

You are a tertiary qualified, commercially astute individual with a scientific background and relevant University degree, preferably a PhD and/or MD.   You have several years of progressive experience in Clinical Development in pharma, biotech or CRO as well as a detailed knowledge of global clinical trial regulations. You ideally also have relevant therapeutic area expertise in GU oncology, rare disease or Glioblastoma.

You thrive in an agile, fast-moving organisation and are comfortable working with competitive priorities and to tight timelines.  You possess a global mindset and have a willingness to work collaboratively with global team members across regions/multiple time zones.
