About the Role
The Finance Director – Product Portfolio Management, partners with the Global Product Portfolio Team and Network Partners as lead on the financial reporting, budget preparation and activity forecast managing project costs to plan. The Product Portfolio team leads the programs to bring Telix pipeline products through development and clinical trials onto the market. This will be achieved through effective planning and assessment of anticipated project outlays and review of activity to plan, ensuring effective systems and reporting including R & D activity capture, capital investment and product development needs. This role takes lead on identifying and implementing effective inputs, controls, reporting and systems with the PPM team as well as supporting cyclical financial, accounting and corporate reporting in line with Telix reporting cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective financial management reporting and review of performance to plan for Telix Product Portfolio Management team and network partnerships.
- Preparation and planning of project budgets, forecast of activity, tracking of key costs and expenditure, R & D, capital and partner investment in line with commercial agreements.
- Cyclical reporting and review of financials and performance for month end, quarterly and annual review processes for project, financial, accounting and corporate reporting requirements.
- Partnering with the PPM group to model and prepare costing / financial analysis on strategic initiatives, commercial partner proposals, project amendments and future opportunities.
- Ensure effective financial systems, processes, procurement assessment and support, internal controls and adherence to policy for projects and Telix partners.
- Partnering with a dynamic product portfolio team in a project management environment working with a global team and projects.
- Partnering with multiple stakeholders across Finance, PPM team and broader internal Telix medical and clinical team, operations colleagues and Telix network partners.
- Supporting key projects to bring key novel products to market in a rapid growth global biotech company with evolving organisation needs and processes
About you
You have the requisite graduate qualifications in Finance or Commerce with relevant professional accounting certification (CPA or CA). Any post graduate business qualifications will also be well regarded.
Well developed, demonstrated commercial acumen and finance leadership skills and experience, gathering and analyzing data, reports and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders and helping developing effective course of action and solutions. Previous demonstrated experience working with a dynamic global team with expansive project and milestone deliverables. An understanding of R & D tax incentives, product development lifecycle and capital investment will be well regarded. As will strong experience and understanding of financial reporting in line with corporate cycles in a global publicly listed organisation.
An emerging finance leader, you have the the ability to partner with key senior stakeholders and influence in an agile, global, rapid growth biotech environment. Commercial acumen and personal nous with strong planning and organisation skills, analytical and detail orientation with ability to build alignment around key project performance parameters and managing across stakeholder groups to deliver outcomes.
