About the Role

The ideal candidate must possess strong time management and analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Strong technology skills are critical, particularly expertise with Microsoft Excel.

About you

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and posting journal entries in SAP
  • Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Assist in month end, quarter and year end closing process
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting
  • Posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals
  • Ad-hoc reporting and special projects as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Accounting, or Finance required
  • 3 years experience in accounting required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
  • Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
  • SAP or other ERP experience is a plus
